We fix what's broken, fast, and we don't disappear after the invoice. Same-day appointments available across Ottawa and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
You'll get a flat-rate quote before any repair work begins — no guessing what the final bill will look like.
Warranty details are explained clearly so you know exactly what's covered going forward.
Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. Our crews carry manufacturer certifications across the major residential and commercial equipment lines.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the crew that answers the phone at 2am when your furnace quits in the middle of a cold snap. Licensing and insurance aren't optional line items for us, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, residential or commercial.
We know which neighborhoods run on older ductwork and which subdivisions were built with newer high-efficiency systems. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Ottawa and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We'd rather lose a job to a lower bid than win one by cutting corners on the diagnosis, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Ottawa is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Ottawa homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Ottawa properties actually need.
When your Ac Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Ottawa dispatch team sends the closest available truck first so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
We keep the truck stocked with the parts that fail most often on the equipment common to Ottawa homes, which is exactly why most repairs don't require a return visit.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Ottawa homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in Ottawa are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services multi-zone commercial buildouts across Ottawa, with priority response for facilities that can't afford downtime.
We understand that a commercial call isn't just about comfort, it's about keeping a business open.
A seasonal tune-up catches the kind of wear that turns into a mid-summer no-cool call. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle duct cleaning and sealing to stop conditioned air from leaking into attics and crawlspaces for Ottawa households that want more than just temperature control.
A tune-up typically takes under an hour and covers the checkpoints most likely to catch a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
This is the standard every Ottawa technician on our team is held to.
Every repair comes with a workmanship warranty explained in plain terms before we leave.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
If anything feels off after we leave, one call gets a tech back to your Ottawa address.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
Ignoring new noises is one of the fastest ways to turn a small repair into a major one.
This is one of the most common complaints we hear on service calls across Ottawa.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
A system that won't hold a steady cycle is often fighting a sizing issue, a thermostat problem, or a refrigerant imbalance.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
You'll know the cost before a wrench touches your system.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".
If something isn't right after we leave, we come back and make it right.
Every technician carries current state licensing and manufacturer training.
You make the final call — we just make sure you have the full picture.
We'll walk you through what's actually available before you decide.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"I called three other companies first and this was the only one that actually picked up. The pricing was exactly what they quoted over the phone."
"We've used them for our maintenance plan for two years now and never had a surprise breakdown. You can tell these guys actually know what they're doing."
"Explained the sizing calculation so I understood why they weren't just installing the same unit again. Followed up a week later just to check everything was still running fine."
"Our restaurant's rooftop unit went down on a Friday night and they had someone out fast. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"Got quotes from four different companies for a replacement and this was the only one that actually walked me through the load calculation. Would use them again without hesitation."
"Called at 11pm during a heat wave and honestly didn't expect anyone to pick up, let alone show up. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Ottawa's seasonal swings.
Ottawa's seasonal swings put real stress on a system that isn't maintained regularly. Before the heaviest cooling months hit, it's worth having the refrigerant charge checked, the condenser coils cleaned, and the filter replaced — all of which directly affect how hard the compressor has to work.
Setting a programmable or smart thermostat to a consistent schedule reduces the number of times the system has to work hard to catch up to a big temperature swing. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Ottawa roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.
Over a decade in residential heating and cooling, with a focus on load calculations and full system replacements.
Runs point on overnight and weekend emergency calls throughout Ottawa.
Experienced with the light industrial and retail equipment common across the area.
Because our trucks are staged near Ottawa, average arrival windows run faster than what national chains typically offer.
Our policy is simple: you approve the number before we touch the system.
Yes, no-heat and no-cool situations are treated as priority calls regardless of the hour.
We maintain current credentials because it protects both our customers and our team.
As a general guideline, if a system is past 12-15 years old and facing a costly repair, replacement often makes more financial sense.
Ask your technician about current plan pricing during any service call.
Our dispatch area extends throughout the greater Ottawa region and nearby towns within Ottawa, IL.
Property managers and business owners can request a dedicated point of contact for ongoing service.
Our technicians are trained across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, not limited to a single manufacturer.
We understand a full system replacement is a significant expense, which is why flexible payment options exist.
Most Ottawa homes benefit from two tune-ups a year — one before cooling season and one before heating season.
Beyond basic safety checks, it's best to leave diagnosis to a licensed technician rather than attempting a repair yourself.
Our pricing is explained clearly before dispatch, and any after-hours consideration is communicated upfront — never as a surprise on the final invoice.
More involved repairs, like a coil replacement or a refrigerant leak repair, take longer and the tech will give you a realistic estimate before starting.
For commercial accounts or rental properties, a designated point of contact or property manager can coordinate access instead.
Housing stock varies a lot across Ottawa — older homes often still run original ductwork that needs different care than the sealed, high-efficiency systems going into newer builds.
Larger properties get the same upfront pricing and licensed technicians as a single-family service call, just coordinated at scale.
A full system replacement is one of the bigger home expenses most people face, and we don't expect everyone to pay it in a single lump sum. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Ottawa installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
We dispatch throughout Ottawa and the neighboring communities, keeping response times tight because our trucks stay close to home.
Coverage isn't limited to a single neighborhood or subdivision — our Ottawa dispatch zone stretches across the metro area and into the surrounding suburbs and unincorporated communities.
